On a really dull study leave afternoon..There i was sitting in front of the computer again and i thought... lets write somethin for a change ..let the creative juices flow..lets find out what ur made of.. was thinkin of an interesting topic to muse about.. still thinkin..
Ok here goes..
Lets talk about the one true religion in india. The one that makes u really feel the indian spirit ..and go ooh ah india .. Well the teams going "ooh"and "ah" all right..Literally...They are playin bad.. I know..But are they playin that bad?..I mean to the point where people burn effigies of players and shout insults outside their homes. I really dont get the point .Come on people..The teams going through a rough patch.. and no matter how many excuses u come up with u have to admit they are playin pretty poorly.. But on top of that do u want ur folks callin up from back home telling u that people just smashed our window panes cos u aint playin well enough.. Is that the way u encourage a team to play better?.. Might as well kidnap their families and mayb send a note saying "score a hundred or else..."
And thats the way it is in india. One day ur being adored.. And another day.. U have stones and broken glass in ur living room.. u have to live with it i guess. Sometimes the expectations are so much that things like this happen, and its a a part of a cricketers life in india..
As much as i really feel lost by the way the team is playin nowadays..i mean this team ..the same one was absolutely superb some months backs with 6-1 and 4-1 demolitions of touring nations..
what really makes me sad.. its not the teams bad performance.. its ours..
and lets hope they win.. go get em..ooh ah india..
